A 2012 George Mason University graduate with a BS in Kinesiology and an All-American track & field background, Dr. Handy began his career in biomechanics at Walter Reed’s Injury Prevention Research Lab and spent four years as a physical therapy technician and track coach. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic and completed extensive Gonstead-specific chiropractic training and spinal rehabilitation hours.At Elite Sport & Spine Center, Dr. Handy’s practice focuses on performance-driven rehabilitation, sports injury management, and individualized spinal care. He has worked with the Daytona Broncos semi-pro football team, volunteered with Brooks Rehab’s adaptive sports program, and completed a clinical rotation at …the Veterans Affairs hospital treating complex conditions. Known for hands-on expertise and compassionate care, Dr. Handy is also a devoted husband and father of three daughters; he coaches, hikes, and mentors special-needs youth in his free time.
