Doc has been patient with me. Concerned for me. Helped me come to grips with Crohn’s. Now only if the practice made seeing a patient more important than grinding out numbers. Overbooked. Understaffed. Getting an urgent appt is almost impossible. But I’ll stay with Doctor S because I trust him. And like him very much.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sauberman's for a few years now and still trying to get my GI symptoms under control. I have been diagnosed with having lactose and gluten issues. Dr. Sauberman is very knowledgeable in his field. The Debbie Downer is when you call the office, that secretary cannot make you an appointment has to send your message off to someone else to then call you back. Its like a game of tag your it. You feel like did somebody drop the ball in professional courtesy. When you've taken I'll and call the office and the nurse doesn't call you back for days or not at all. The office is not properly managed to suit the needs of the patients. The office looks at it as a business in a way and our rising cost of health care is paying these people for the huge lack of care we receive. As patients we wait tiredlessly in the waiting room to finally be called to the patient room to be checked in by the tech to then wait effortlessly again to spend 5 to 10 minutes with a PA to then… see Dr for 3 minutes if that and our health care ins pays them big bucks for what, I ask you. Dr.'s use to care sincerely about all their patients and all they could care about is $$$,$$$ at the end of the day. Don't forget Dr.'s you have patients to care for not keep as guinea pigs to make money off of our health ins companies. Have a caring heart!!

The doctor is fine - not especially good, but not bad. But the office staff is so frustrating to work with. Not the receptionist - everyone who has answered the phone has been very friendly and helpful. But the nurse who works with him never follows through on what she is supposed to do (getting prior authorizations, prescriptions, answering questions), and you really need to check because sometimes the prescriptions sent are for the wrong amount of medication. I have been trying for weeks to get some medication refilled and I have had to keep nagging the pharmacy to get in touch with the doctor's office because they haven't done what they are supposed to do.
