Dr. Lawrence Stewart Barbera, MD

We met Dr. Barbera July 28th, 1977 when our first daughter arrived six weeks too early. He was our mainstay to two young kids who had no idea how to be parents. He was there six weeks later when she developed a right inguinal hernia. He saw us through that and eye surgery and the diagnosis that she had CP and directed us to. Dominic Cardelli. When our son arrived March 5, 1979, he was right there. And then when our third arrived January 16, 2000 he was right there yet again. Through every kid illness, stitches, broken bones Dr. Barbera was there. Now all three are grown. Our first daughter is married, a mother of one, and a middle school English teacher. Our son, a recently retired Lt. Colonel Air Force pilot, is married and the father of six. Our youngest, retired from the Air Force as a captain and just graduated from nursing school. She is married and the mother of two. But no matter where my kids went and what they got themselves into, Dr. Barbera was always there to… patch them back up. Thank you for all you did.
