Dr. Lawrence Mark Barnard

I scheduled an appointment more than two months ago for severe sciatica. Anyone who has dealt with nerve pain knows this isn’t something you casually wait months to address. Yesterday I confirmed the appointment online. Today, the day of the appointment, the office called to inform me that the doctor is on vacation for the entire month of March. That means the practice allowed patients to book and confirm appointments with a doctor who wouldn’t even be in the office. I rearranged firefighter training and a visiting family member to make this appointment. None of that seemed to matter. The only “solution” offered was to reschedule for May. No attempt to prioritize patients who were cancelled on, no referral, and no effort to help someone who has been waiting months in real pain. If this is how the practice handles something as basic as scheduling, it raises serious questions about how the rest of the operation is run. Patients dealing with nerve pain deserve better than… administrative incompetence and a casual shrug. I hope you’re enjoying your vacation. Crook

This Dr, I'm not how sure he can even stay in business, I would never trust this Dr after how I was treated, how my wallet was treated and my head. I was completely mislead and now I am paying the price for that

2 star rating is generous given the circumstances I went through. Comes across convincing of his abilities and then it becomes a long dragged out nightmare financially and more importantly my head

Unfortunately, my head and finances have suffered to do this Dr. I would not recommend at any cost

Dr. Bernard, was supposed to cut 3,000 grafts, instead he made a mistake and only counted 1,500, and realized this after they had already sown my head up.  So then, he cut again, got the other approximate 1,500 grafts, and as a result of double counting, he left a huge scar.  Moreover, because of the extended time to cut me open the second time and the doctor and his incompetent staff did not keep the follicles moist, most of them died.  And instead of having a 90% survival rate, they had a 10% survival rate.

Dr. Barnard has helped me enormously with several different problems over three years. The most debilitating of these, a plantar neuroma, which is commonly considered incurable except by surgery, totally disappeared under his care. I consider him a miracle worker. His ability is amazing, his care and concern for his patients, outstanding.
