Dr. Lawrence Bryskin, MD

Dr. Bryskin is one of the most callous and cruel doctors I have ever met. He seemed to delight in causing me emotional pain and confusion. He confirmed that I was a candidate for TMS at his Brooklyn office (though not after he asked me what I did to cause my parents' abuse). However, in his private practice, he told me that I shouldn't have been doing TMS because all I needed was therapy. This was after I'd been in therapy for 6 years. He also suggested medical marijuana, but when I said I'd been told that the interaction with my medications could make me psychotic, he admitted that it was a possibility and shut the door in my face. The last straw for me was when he wanted to put me on Klonopin daily. I refused because it is habit-forming and would be hard to come off of, and he waved his hand dismissively and said, "You'll be better by then." When I still refused, he said, "You must not be suffering that much if you're worried about the effects of the meds." If you value your mental… health, stay FAR away from him!

I called his office for me to have an appointment and he was so rude to me and he won't let me finish my sentence .. I find this doctor very unprofessional.
