Dr. Lawrence Hei-Fei Char

This is the worst Dentist I have ever been to, Dr.Char is not a people person and he is very impatient and pushy, I had a tooth infection it was my first visit and was in a lot of pain but he insisted on not giving me antibiotics, and proceeded to clean my teeth very rough and impatient and said the pain would go away once I get my teeth clean, my gums kept bleeding after the cleaning due to the rough cleaning and the pain on the infected tooth worsened and my face swoll up, so I called another Dentist on Beaumont and went in for a second opinion and consultation and was given antibiotics, it was a clean and relaxing environment and the Dr. was calm and very patient with me, but I would not recommend Dr. Lawrence Char to anyone, his dental office is not very friendly or inviting and I was wandering why nobody was in his dental office (red flag) but the office across the way was packed...........

I used to go to this dentist until he struggled to pull one of my top molars. He kept working it back and forth so rough and caused the root to break off, float up and pierce my sinus. I sat up immediately because I felt a strange but mild feel of drowning. He immediately placed the blame on me saying the broken root would not have floated up if I had not sat up. He told me to report to an specific surgeon in Palm Springs immediately for a second opinion because he thought I was going to have to get the root removed. Unbelievable! He seriously pinned the responsibility of his mistake on a patient. Not just any patient but one that has been his patient for years. Shame on you Dr. Char. It has been years but I am sure you remember this incident.

The most rude and condescending person I have ever met. Short and snappy to his staff and rude to me. Go anywhere else!
