Dr. Lawrence Philip Corbett, DO

Dr. Corbett took care of my husband when he was diagnosed with ALS. He sent us to Boston for a second opinion and tried every test and therapy to bend the diagnosis away from ALS. He was compassionate and supportive throughout the entire final months.

This was an inpatient visit therefore I the administrative rating of staff, wait time etc. was just defaulted to what I wished his total rating to be.

Dr. Corbett saw me to confirm a diagnosis, and he took a lot of time examining me and LISTENING to me. Doctors nowadays don't even listen to you anymore, but Dr. Corbett not only listens---he answers every question we had on my condition. The amount of tests he did covers everything he had in mind that could contribute to my possible condition. He also reviewed my scans PERSONALLY and gave me a call to tell me his diagnosis. I could not have asked for a better doctor. And he's one in a million. Thank you, Dr. Corbett for making me feel better.

I have never felt rushed by Dr. Corbett, he takes the time to listen to, and respond to my questions. His calm easy going personality, in-depth knowledge of his specialty, combined with the fact that he has a sense of humor, make me feel lucky to have him as my physician and extremely confident in his judgement and care.

Dr. Corbett never seems hurried or distracted, though I know he's very busy. He spends as much time with me as necessary, including answering questions and discussing options. He's interested in information I bring him, also, and has been amenable to trying treatments that other doctors too quickly dismiss. At the same time, he does his homework and tells me when he thinks something isn't safe to pursue. His manner is gentle and genial and warm, and thoroughly professional.

His gentle caring nature is reassuring to me. His diagnostic testing is done with the upmost concern about the comfort of the patient.
