Dr. Dieter, in 1989, completed the 5 year program at Western States University of Health, aka Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Chiropractic is both a manual medicine & rehab. "As a chiropractor, I take stress off the nervous system, thereby allowing the body to heal itself." He has been practicing in San Luis Obispo serving the community & cal poly students, faculty & athletes since being licensed in 1989. Dr. Dieter, aka Dr. Backman, spent 2 years in New Zealand & Australia where he practice in Melbourne. His interest in treating sports injuries, whiplash, & car/auto accident injuries along with coaching these patients through the complicated process of the medical legal world of car accidents.
