Dr. Lawrence Stephen Artress Eastburn, MD

I just saw him and I had a bunch of problems. He competently resolved each one. He’s my new Dr.

I love Dr. Eastburn. He is caring, attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

I've had Dr Eastburn as mine & my large families physician since his residency. I have followed him over many yrs as he's moved because there's no other man that will care more for you & your physical condition. Yes, you may wait a few xtra minutes but ONLY because he doesn't rush in & out like so many others I've seen. He cares. If you enjoy being treated as as just as just another # then fine complain about the few xtra min you'll wait. I guarantee you it's so well worth it. I hope he never changes that part of him over peoples complaining over a few xtra mins of time. As far diagnosing, there's no one better. He saved my moms life 6yrs ago. She wouldn't be with us now if it wasn't for him. Also, 3yrs ago he diagnosed a nerve problem in my chest that in the end the "specialists" finally came to the conclusion of. He's never misdiagnosted me or a family member. Is he human, of course. He's not the kind if dr that gives you a pain pill & sends you on your way, far from it. Never, ever… seen or heard of such a thing. It sounds silly to me. His wife, she's a kind, caring woman, & amazing nurse. She takes top of the line care of you. It will be a sad day for this family & the city of Spokane when Dr Easturn hangs up his coat.

What a joke, I would have had better care with a vet. He is always late if he shows up at all. This office and Dr. does not follow up after testing . Calls are not returned. His nurse is his wife who has a serious drinking problem. I have smelled alchol on her more rthan once. I have learned trhat her licience has expired and she is still practicing with him. The office staff is rude or talks about other patients within hearing range of patients. I have found a new Dr. and suggest others do too,unless you just want pain pills. He likes to give you them and send you out the dorr instead of fixing the real problem.

I love Dr. Eastburn, he's the best. And his staff is wonderful, they really care about you, and so does he!

Dr. Eastburn has been my dr for several years. I have never had a dr who listens like Dr. Easburn does. There are time when you must wait for Dr. Eastburn, but that is because he spends as much time as is needed with each patient. He cares about his patients. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Eastburn to both friend and family.

Dr. Eastburn has been my Doctor for about 10 years. He has treated me with courtesy and respect. He always takes time to talk to me and has helped me emotionally when I needed it. I know he is not a Business Man type Doc and has had some Office personel issues in the past, but I feel like he is on the right track with his office team. I would highly recomend Dr. Eastburn to other patients and I have referred Family and Friends to his practice, some like him and some done, but in my opinion he is a special Doc just trying to do the best Job he can for his patients.

The office staff at this office is unprofessional. The phone is rarely answered by a person, once you've been able to get in to see the doctor they either never call back at all, or wait days to do so. I just switched doctors today and my only regret is that I didn't do it a long time ago.

TOO BUSY LISTENING TO WHAT IS GOING ON OUTSIDE PT ROOM TO CONCENTRAT ON PT. POOR FOLLOW UP AND FAULTY DIAGNOSIS.

I've been told he is a good doctor, but all I know is that it is a nightmare to deal with his office, and therefore, with him. The phone is rarely answered by a person. Messages, whether left with a person or on voice mail, never make it to the person intended. Calls are routinely not returned. Even when you do manage to get to talk to somebody, promises to return calls are never kept. Results are not relayed to the patient, even when specifically asked for. Appointments are never available. Office staff blatantly ignore patients waiting to sign in or ask questions in favor of talking among themselves. Transparent lies and excuses to cover up the incompetence, laziness, and total disregard of the staff (and doctor?) are simply the order of the day. At least one or two doctors sharing the practice, and two PAs, have come and gone in just a few months (although the telephone greeting and options have not been changed to reflect this). His office sent my mother (by phone) for… X-rays when a fracture in her foot was suspected, and it took two full weeks of US calling HIM, again and again and again, just to get the results. Isn't the doctor supposed to tell you whether or not you have a fracture, or are we expecting too much? Perhaps if you are in great health, and just need someone with an MD after their name to sign off for you to take scuba lessons, and if you can schedule your appointment for that 2 or 3 years in advance, then Dr. Eastburn may be the right doc for you. But if you have any medical problems requiring a physician, if you need consistent, reliable, accessible or qualified medical care, don't look here. You've got a better chance of getting that from your mortician.
