Dr. Lawrence William Freeman, MD

Dr. Freeman's physician assistant prescribed double the normal dosage of Lisinopril-HCTZ while my father (who is 91 yrs. old) was in the hospital. At a follow up visit to Dr. Freeman, the dosage wasn't changed even though my father was experiencing dizziness and bouts of diarrhea. The symptoms continued for 5 1/2 mos. until he passed out, fell, and broke 2 ribs. He was diagnosed as extremely de-hydrated and immediately taken off the meds. Dr. Freeman's nurse was very unhelpful. She said they would never prescribe 25MG of Lisinopril - HCTZ per day. She talked to Dr. Freeman and told us to immediately restart Dr. Freeman's meds and said he couldn't talk to my father's primary care doctor because he had over 500 patients and that we would need to chose whose advice to follow. We chose the primary care doctor's advice and my father is slowly recovering. He was on 25MG per 24 hrs of Lisinophril-HCTZ and is now on 5MG of Lisinophril without the diuretic.
