Dr. Lawrence Wayne Kaplan

I would give him 2 and 1/2 stars. He seemed competent initially but he did not honor the fee schedules listed on the discount savings plan. He also did not refer me to an endodontist when needed and crowned a tooth with a long term infection. So I do not recommend him. If a dentist enrolls in a discount savings plan , he is supposed to adhere the fees he agrees to accept.

dr. kaplan is very experienced dentist , i am the kind of person who avoids dentists because of lack of insurance even todays world and have been to many dentist who claim they are better with there fancy new equipment and they will charge you more for it with less quality. he has very reasonable rates if you do not have insurance and insurance does not cover much for what you pay for , believe me! dont be fooled .

I recently had major restorative work done by Dr. Kaplan. He basically saved my lower jaw, and prevented me from having to get dentures. And I am way too young for that. My new teeth are better than new, and stronger that natural teeth. I can eat nuts again! His staff is accommodating, warm and compassionate. The Dr. saw me on the fly, when I started to experience bad toothache pain. They fit me right in to the schedule. They also worked with me insurance wise, due to the fact that when I began treatment I did not have adequate insurance. My dental work was complete before the Dr. was paid in full. There are not too may doctors that are willing to be that accommodating. And to boot, for a doctor, he has a warm and engaging personality with a wry and witty sense of humor. Under his care, we have had some interesting conversations. Most doctors are somewhat aloof, and reserved, imo. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kaplan.

Horrible dentist. His hands shake and he is rude. He insisted on changing out a filling on a tooth that wasn't bothering me. Now the tooth is sensitive to cold and food is always getting caught between the teeth. I've been back to him 3 times for the same problem and he can't fix it. Time to find a new dentist.
