Dr. Lawrence Lawlor Kerns, MD

He doesn’t go there. You will never see a doctor. The therapist they assigned to my daughter was not ethical and crossed the line several times in things she said (after school activities were cultish.)

Unfortunately, they are not taking new patients, or should I say returning patients from United HealthCare. Disappointing considering Dr. Kerns was one person that helped my son.

Thanks to Dr. Kerns we are able to have a restful night sleep. My son would only sleep a couple hours. We finally have that under control. We are still working on other issues, but I would recommend this doctor to others in need. I actually found Dr. Kerns through a referral from a friend who has a son that sees Dr. Kerns and they love him.

Dr. Kerns specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. He knows ADD and ADHD inside and out. He takes his time with the diagnosis, is VERY thorough. I felt very secure when he was done. Then he is very careful about prescribing meds. He takes so much into account when considering which ed will be effective. He began by asking if I even wanted to consider meds. He has a great team, with MANY good non medical tools at their disposal. I was unsure when we started. But I am extremely satisfied with the care I get at Kerns and Assoc in Barrington.
