Dr. Lawrence M Klein

Dr Klein, although not born in Florida, considers himself a native. His parents, originally from New York, moved to Miami when he was six years old. He lived in Miami until completing high school and then attended undergraduate college at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Klein received a Bachelor of Science degree, and then he moved to Baltimore to attend dental school at the University of Maryland.
While in dental school he spent a summer as an extern in the University of Miami Medical School's oral surgery program. He graduated dental school in the top ten percent of his class, and then completed a one-year dental residency program at a Baltimore hospital. There he received additional training in oral surgery, general anesthesia, and in-hospital dental treatment.
In the summer of 1979, upon completion of his residency, Dr. Klein moved back to Florida. He decided to settle in Boca Raton where he became an associate in the practice of Dr. Saul Newman. After three years …Dr. Klein opened his own office (in what was then considered) “out west” on Glades Road. Over the next several years he built a successful practice there. When the practice finally outgrew that location, Dr. Klein moved to his current office on Palmetto Park Road.
Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Klein has enhanced his training and experience through continuing education. This has also allowed him to keep up with the latest advances in treatment. Much of this training has taken place at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic. This is a facility where dentists can go one day each month to learn the most current treatments and procedures by attending lectures and treating patients under the supervision of specialists.
Dr. Klein has received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implant reconstruction, and other advanced types of treatment from nationally renowned clinicians and lecturers.
Dr. Klein lives in Boca Raton. He and his wife, Arlene, have been married for 32 years and have two sons, aged 23 and 26. Arlene works in the dental practice part-time as an office manager and receptionist.
Leisure time activities include cycling, skiing, travel, photography, hiking, gardening, and home improvement projects.
