Dr. Lawrence James Koep, MD

I was told I had a tumor and it was 90% chance it was pancreatic cancer, and I would need a whiipple operation. I did my research and found out the whipple operation was a very difficult operation and very few doctors were qualified to perform it. DR. KEOP is the top doctor in the valley. I am happy to say I am alive today because of Dr. Keop and his staff. HE IS A FIVE STAR DOCTOR.

Dr Koep is the most humble man I have ever met. he in lack of better words saved my life. removed contents from inside my body that had been left by a surgeon days before from a simple gallbladder removal surgery. I am so thankful for this man and every nurse I have come across in my stay here has had nothing but kind words to speak about him. I would definitely recommend to someone who was in need of his expertise!

What a wonderful doctor. I consider myself to be most fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Koep for the removal of a cancerous portion of my liver. This is the most talented, professional caring doctor I have ever had the good fortune to be associated with. Such a sad experience, I know a dr. is only human but he completely misdiagnosed my family member and did surgery when it was far too late. This caused more suffering and a quick death. To make matters worse, he was not upfront about the seriousness of the situation or poor prognosis. From everything else I've heard about the man, he's a spectacular physician but in our case he did our family member a major injustice. My prayer is that he learns from his mistakes and supervises his residents better. I want my loved-ones death to not be in vain but be used for improved patient care by the entire team.

Dr Koep is indeed a rare person in today's dollar driven society. He is in a word a "life saver" without pear. I would recommend him in a heart beat to anyone needing his specialty.

Doctor Koep performed a whipple procedure on me over one year ago and I am doing great and I do not need any medications. For such an amazing surgeon he also very compassionate and seems so humble. I beleive he is simply the best surgeon.
