Dr. Lawrence E Levine, MD

Thoroughly takes the time to check and has seen things before they can become a problem. Great sense of humor as well.

On my first visit, I waited about 25 minutes before my name was called to go into the examination room. But on my second visit, I only had to wait about five or 10 minutes. The doctor was very thorough and willing to work with me on payment arrangements. He was also polite, straightforward and professional.

I can't quite apprehend the less than stellar reviews for Dr. Levine as my three visits to his office consisted of some of the best care I've ever received from a physician, and by far the best from a dermatologist. His consultation style is that of a well-practiced and caring person, and I didn't get the slightest hint of impatience or dismissiveness, as had been my experience at another dermatology practice I had used. His examination procedure was thorough and he did his best to assure me the results would be accurate. After waiting the prescribed time and getting a biopsy, he was concise about the diagnosis and left me with a sense of relief and assurance.

Seems knowlegable, but has a very strange bedside manner. Says "peek-a-boo" when he looks in private areas for skin cancer. Fine for a kid, but not for an adult.

DR. Levine is a medically oriented dermatologist in this age of follow-the-money cosmetically oriented doctors. I am very fair skinned and have been to numerous dermatologists over the years, I have NEVER HAD AS THOROUGH AN EXAM as that which I recieved from Dr. Levine. He is is efficient in his use of time without rushing the patient. I would not describe him as having a warm and fuzzy manner, yet he is a nice man. He was very sweet to my elderly parents. VERY GOOD DOC

Very intrusive body scan! Referring doctor warned me he has the personality of a warthog and I would agree. I don't believe he needed to look where he did for the body scan.

This doctor was so rude that he threw me out of his office and refused to see me because he insisted on taking only cash for a copay and I asked more than once if he could take a credit card. He also misdiagnosed my mother and was also rude to her as well.

Dr. Levine has done an exceptional job of taking care of my family. He has been very patient with us and has provided us with excellent care. I have an extremely high positive opinion of him. Thanks for everything.
