I really appreciated Dr. Litscher. He is 'no nonsense', very direct, struck me as highly intelligent. A prostate biopsy is not fun, but it is what it is, and he and his staff are skilled and professional. So glad I got assigned to him, given his competence and experience.

Dr. Litscher was very considerate, quickly and correctly diagnosed my problem, prescribed appropriate meds, spent plenty of time with me, and followed up appropriately. I am very satisfied.

I had him blast a large kidney stone with ultrasound. He NEVER but a screen in so that passing would be easier for me. I ended up in ER several times. I decided to go to Cincy to see another urologist. That Dr told me "he wouldn't take his dog to Litscher." AND that Litscher was a son of a birch! Wow -I was stunned. Doctors always stick together, but the 2nd doc I saw was wonderfully honest! Litschers partner that I saw in the 2nd ER visit was literally stunned that Litscher didn't put a screen in place. Enough said!

I have been seeing Dr Litscher for at least 10 years and I would not consider seeing another urologist. He is very easy to talk to, and always explains everything in plain English. He has done several surgeries on me from my vasectomy to bladder stone removal and there have been no complications that he could have prevented. I recommend him very highly.

The guy is smart and explained everything to me and answered my questions. I would through out possible other theories and he would take the time to EXPLAIN why it was not probable. I can see why his "bedside manner" could rub people the wrong way. But not me,I enjoy is directness.
