Dr. Lawrence S Maldonado, MD

Dr. Maldanado took care of my mom in ICU at Cedars. He is very attentive to detail, competent and caring. Although he is the Director of MICU he is open to learning anything that will aid his primary intention of making patients better and saving lives. He is not about ego, but treats patients and their families in a way which truly earns their trust and respect.

Dr. Maldonado cared for me in the ICU and his expertise literally saved my life. Beyond just saving me, he treated me like a person and not a case. After I left ICU and he was no longer my doctor, he visited me in hospital to see how I was doing. I did not expect this because I have no insurance and he did not get paid for what he did. After I went home, my wife told me he really helped her cope with my illness. He is a blessing!
