Nothing good to say. You can’t build a house on a weak foundation and the staff which is the foundation of any practice is very weak.

Just got back from my first colonoscopy. Dr Mancino and his entire staff are amazing . I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect but from first consultation to prescribing the medication and the test itself they really explain everything and make you feel comfortable. Like everyone kept saying you don't feel anything , I'm glad I had this done and would recommend this practice to everyone.

I was a patient of Dr. Mancino for 10 years. In that time I had 3 colonoscopies, each time having polyps. I have excellent insurance coverage and insurance covered the cost. I recently had another one, and as always I asked if it was covered by insurance. I was told by his staff that they got approval and there was no cost to me. I confirmed that with Dr. Mancino and he also confirmed there would be no cost, as there never was with the previous ones. This time the procedure was terrible- they woke me up in the middle of it because I was vomiting so much so they said I could not breath and he did not want me to die!!! I had had surgeries in the past, about 7 other procedures where I was put to sleep and this never happened. He came out after it was over and explained how hard it was for him to do the procedure and said it was my fault since I am a diabetic. Well I have been a diabetic for years and it never happened before, so this entire situation seemed wrong. A short while… later I was billed over $1100!!! I called Dr. Mancino numerous times to ask why and he would not get on the phone. He had his staff tell me it was because I had polyps, but as I had them every time I had a procedure that made no sense. After numerous calls and emails I called the insurance company and they explained that he should have coded the procedure as "preventive" but he did not and he could change it if he wanted to. Again, I called and again no response. His staff called and told me to stop bothering him, he was not getting back to me or changing the code. That is just the way it was. When I asked why I was told there was no charge and then charged over $1100 and why I was never charged before they just said- that is the cost and hung up. I find it very strange that I was never charged before, and now when the procedure did not go smoothly, for a reason I was never told, I was charged a ton of money. After 10 years he would not give me the courtesy of even getting on the phone! So if you go to him get it in writing that they will go through insurance because his word cannot be trusted. Truly I would never go back to him after this procedure because the patient should never be blamed if something goes wrong when they are undergoing a procedure and something goes wrong. Isn't that the doctors responsibility- to make sure things go smoothly, and if they do why blame the patient. I think we can all figure that one out!

My family doctor referred me to see dr mancino for a colonoscopy, so happy he sent me there dr mancino spent time with me answered all my question great bedside manner, best dr ever! as a new patient I was a little scared, I heared the staff was rude! Well staff was great. The lady who took me in the exam room was so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend this dr.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mancino's for more than 15 years. I have always found him to be very caring person. His office is very busy but friendly and helpful.

I'm not writing about myself, my brotherinlaw was a patient of his for around 10 years. He use to go to have an endoscoptic every year. The doctor found polyps in his stomach, but was very not too concerned. Meanwhile he bled profusiously due to the polyps, because he was on coumadon due to another problem. He did not take to much concern. Something should of been done sooner, mabee he would of been alive today. He never even had the decency to call his wife, (who is my sister) to send his condolences. He never even asked what hospital he was taken to, and visit him. I kept on saying to him, to go to New York and change your doctor, but he had a lot of faith in Dr. Mancino. But where did it get him, now he under the grave. He should have taken more concern. Shame on him

I've never rated a Doctor before, but I would be amiss if I didn't comment on how good a Doctor Lawrence Manicino is. He gives you his time, expertise and care on each visit.
