Dr. Lawrence Alan Mendelsohn, MD

Dr. Mendelsohn has been an incredible doctor for our family. He is compassionate, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. From the very beginning, he has treated us with genuine care and respect, always taking the time to listen and address our concerns. We truly couldn't have chosen a better physician. He cares for his patients like family, and that level of dedication and kindness is evident in every interaction. We are grateful to have him as our doctor and highly recommend him to anyone seeking exceptional medical care.

I have never met a doctor that had a worse bedside manner. He did not seem to care at all about my father and was not open to discussing anything outside of traditional chemo. Not even diet changes... close minded and no compassion. Total waste of time and he should be ashamed of himself for acting so cold during a time like that.

He’s a great doctor but I always have to wait 2+ hours for my appointment.

A very knowledgeable and caring doctor.

Dr. Mendelsohn came in to read my scan results. Told me that it showed new cancer and pointed to his chest area. Then looked at his phone and excused his self out. Came back in and stated that he wanted me to go to hospital to get my pain controlled and more chemo. Never finished with what results of my report. I went home to decide over the weekend if I wanted to continue another round of chemo or call hospice. The next day I received the report of scan in the mail. My daughter had to give me the news that I actually had 6 new area's of cancer. That wasn't her job! It should have been his job! How was a phone call more important? I pray that no one's family, loved one, or caregiver is ever put in the situation ever!

A competent and compassionate healer.

In this world, one should trust God and their doctor. I truly trust Dr. Mendelssohn, he is a gift from the Holy Spirit. One should not be struggling with pain and not have trust in the doctor. God gives wisdom and knowledge, it is good to see someone believing that and leaning not on their own understanding. I had never heard of this dr. before Aug. 2018.

When everyone else gave me a death sentence he gave me life.

Dr. Mendelsohn is my angel sent by God. I knew the minute I talked with him and he said God was in control, that God had sent him to me because he knew I needed the best he had to offer. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Mendelsohn and all of his staff for making such a life changing event bearable.

I typically have to contact the office for any test results. Have waited an extended amount of time to be seen.
