Dr. G Lawrence Newhook, MD

On St. Patrick’s Day, 2013. I went to the Meadville Medical Center ER because I thought I had pneumonia. Dr. Newhook was the On Staff Doctor that day. As soon as he had listened to my lungs, he knew there was a blockage going on. Dr. Newhook immediately sent me to get a Catscan. That was a Sunday. The following day , my regular doctor requested that I come in to talk about the results. I was informed that the Catscan showed large infected Lymphnodes in my lungs. And that it was the diagnosis would be either Lymphoma or Sarcoidosis, which once had been considered a form of Lymphoma, but a discovery was made that Steroids could put it into remission. When I had the biopsy done. A infected Lymphnode was discovered on my Larnyx as well. The biopsy was done there instead of my lungs. The results came back that I had Sarcoidosis. Treatments of steroids began. Eventually the Sarcoidosis went into remission. Because of the Sarcoidosis being biopsied from my Larnyx. I never knew if I would be… able to sing again. But I did. I have not only sung at churches on a Worship Team but also on stage for musical plays & continues to do so. It has been over 5 yrs now since that St. Patrick’s Day that a kind , caring, & very professional doctor named Dr. Newhook was right on spot about my lungs & I will be forever grateful to God for having him in the right place at the right time , so that I could be diagnosed & began get the proper healthcare that I needed. My grandmother is now gone thanks to this poor excuse of a doctor. She was taken to the Titusville Hospital ER by ambulance due to vomiting and turning a grey color. She was put in a wheel chair and left alone in the waiting room until my father got there about 15 minutes after her! He had to throw a fit before she was even put in a room and then this man discharged her saying she had a bladder infection and was constipated. We got her home and within an hour we were calling the ambulance again as she had gotten even worse, shaking and couldn’t talk. Ambulance came, called in lifestar at which time we were told she was in Septic Shock. She passed away early the next morning after suffering a massive stroke and brain bleeding. This man is no doctor, he’s a careless monster.

He was always a gentle, caring young man and when I was a child he would scoop me up after I'd fallen on the ice rink in my back yard.
