Dr. Ottaviano has been my gastroenterologist for nearly 40 years. Aside from being a very good physician, he is warm and caring, and willing to give you time to ask questions. He will in turn, make sure you understand what ails you and unfailingly he will give you the correct treatment and medication. I highly recommend him.

Long delays to obtain an appointment and long waits upon arrival; however these delays are likely due to the demand for Dr. Ottaviano's excellent services. He is up to date on medical developments in his field, spends high quality one-on-one communication with each patient and is a likable, competent physician. He is worth the wait! Also he performs almost painless endoscopies and colonoscopies and provides thorough feedback including photos. His main assistant, Robin, keeps the office running efficiently and with a sense of humor. Another appropriately- named assistant , Fun, is actually fun and she is competent.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ottaviano's for approximately 15 years. You won't find a more compassionate, caring doctor in this city. He treats his patients like family, and he's dogged in his determination to nail down the correct diagnosis and treatment. And his associate, Robin, is always there to support his efforts.
