Dr. Lawrence Robert Pankau

Dr. Pankau has been my doctor for 35+ years. He's always been caring and compassionate. He's an intelligent, excellent doctor who has always been patient with my 'problem list' and addressed every one of my concerns. I never even considered changing doctors.

I went to Dr. Pankau for years, both at his old practice in Park Ridge and now at the Presence Center For Health offices. As a Dr. I have great respect for his skills and the way he treats me as a patient. Unfortunately, since he has moved to the new offices at Presence Center For Health, the overall health care experience has dropped dramatically. Scheduling is a joke, you can wait weeks to see YOUR Dr. and the office staff seems unenthusiastic at best. If you have a problem and want to talk to the Dr., there’s a 50 – 50 chance that will ever happen. The last and final time I went to see Dr. Pankau I was left in the exam room for over an hour, with absolutely no updates from the staff. I finally just got up and left. The only comment from the office staff was, do you want to reschedule? The bottom line, Dr. Pnakau is excellent, but the Presence Health system is so poor I can’t recommend him. I have since found another Dr. outside of the Presence Health system.
