Dr. Lawrence J Parker, MD

I have used Dr Parker for several years. I continue to use this practice because of Valerie Glass, nurse practitioner. She has a wonderful, caring personality. She listens to all of your concerns. I continue to use this practice because of Valerie.

I thought he was a jerk. Dismissive of my daughters Crohns, wouldn’t hang around long enough to ask a question. Just generally rude.

My mother had a colonoscopy done last year and was told by Dr Parker everything looked good, NOW less then a year later my mom has a tumor in her colon and through out her body and in her lungs.... her other doctors do not understand why this was not caught earlier since it would have been there for over a year......DO NOT USE THEM!!!

My 83 yr old mom was a patient of Dr. Parker for many years. She was having stomach pain so she visited hm. He mashed on her belly, told her she had Diverticulitis and gave her two powerful drugs for it. No blood test, no ct scan. Eight days later she called me because she was bleeding. I took her to ER. She has cancer spread through out her abdomen! YOU were wrong and careless Dr. Parker.

I recommend Dr. PArker to everyone I know.

I love Dr. Parker. He is smart and fast. I never have to wait a long time. He diagnosed and has treated me for years. I love his office staff as well. Very professional.

I would not recommend Dr. Parker because he did not treat me as if he cared. I came to him for help with my medical concerns and he treated me as if I was not worthy of his time. When he came into the exam room, he did not take the time to acknowledge the reason for my visit. I gave Dr. Parker my history, health concerns, and what I would like to have done and he disregarded what I said and diagnosed me with something he did not even test me for. He only gave me medicine that I did not need. Dr. Parker does not treat people like human beings. His acted as though he had other important things to do besides help people. I would highly recommend for him to do a better job at helping his patients to understand the procedures, surgeries, prescriptions, (etc) before leaving. The way I was treated during my visit could be life threatening because it is not right for a doctor to diagnose a person with an illness before even verifying it with test first.

If I could say no stars or 1/2 a star I would! Dr. Parker's bedside manner before and after surgery we're terrible!! They get you in and herd you in and out like cattle! There is no personal touches anywhere in their treatment! He gives you no time to ask questions or anything else about your procedure. Either to you or the person with you! My first appointment was with his nurse practitioner Josh which I did have a longer wait than I expected...I felt like he asked me the same questions over and over again....only for Dr. Parker to not pay attention to any of the answers before my procedures. I did not feel there was clear communication on what they would be doing to me or for me. I did not feel like my exam was thorough enough and I think the process has been very slow and much longer than it could/should be! I do need to add that WHITNEY their medical assistant ROCKS!. She's totally amazing! She is so thorough and so patient with you even if you have a ton of questions like I did.… I would definitely give her herself 5 stars!
