Dr. Lawrence Alan Peltz, MD

He’s definitely honest but does not listen enough. He only wants to hear himself talk, not you. He will constantly cut you off while you’re speaking. Very quick to diagnose and give out pills.

Meeting with Dr. Peltz was the beginning of my change in addiction/mental health. I have now been sober 4 years and practice on a daily basis mindfulness. Mindfulness introduced to me by Dr peltz made a huge difference in my life.

During a recent telephone conversation requesting a prescription refill, I perceived his manner as rude, arrogant and impatient. Also, I was referred to him because my own doctor of eleven years was not available. This was my first time speaking with Dr. Peltz and I would be reluctant to have any type of communication with him again. I might call to request an apology !

Dr. Peltz is a caring and empathic doctor who treats you like a friend and has extensive experience in practicing psychiatry and finding the correct medication for you.
