Dr. Lawrence L Prokop, DO

Dr. Prokop assisted me and there was also a resident on staff. I have aching on the right side and it appears to come from my leg, and it is hard to understand. I trust Dr. Prokop and I have been tested and evaluated. I have been working on walking and following up with care. Dr. Prokop does an excellent job of making the client comfortable no matter what the race, or social economic back ground. My insurance is not stellar but it is excepted. I was seen punctually, and advised to when my results would be available at Dr. Rosick's . With the many years of experience Dr. Prokop has, I have faired well to be able to go to a established, notable care provider. I highly recommend this provider for any person black, white, Hispanic, or Asian. Friendly environment. I am approximately 60 years old.

Dr. Prokop is very personable and takes the time to REALLY listen to his patients. 99% of his staff are also very friendly and remember you. I suffered a stroke and my left side is paralyzed. I go in to get shots and stop spaticity in my left leg. This involves getting shots of phenol in my leg nerves. It's almost like a lube job on your car. They inject a deadening agent first so you don't feel the shots of the medicine. Then a small current of electricity is sent through the nerve. I believe it's to deaden the nerve and stop my leg from spasiming. These shots, one series now last me about 6 months. The hope (I believe) is that after a series of shots will permanently stop the sasms that occur. I haven't hit that stage yet, hopefully after this next series of shots in my bad leg.

Doctor Prokop eliminate my fears about the EMG and got it done. I have to return, but I feel better after having seen Doctor Prokop, friendly , accessible environment. Staff reflect a lot of human qualities. I would highly recommend this office to others. Doctor Prokop's experience is very apparent the moment he starts to work with the client.
