Dr. Lawrence Edward Slama, MD

I have now seen Dr. Slama several times. He is what I describe as an old fashioned doctor. And by that I mean a doctor who truly cares about you, takes his time, makes certain to ask all the questions, and does not treat you like a cookie cutter patient. He is WONDERFUL! The first time I saw him I had been struggling with a cough that simply would not go away. I had an amazing primary at that time, but he was unable to help me resolve an ongoing persistent problem. Dr Slama did. I only wish I had a primary doctor that was half as good as he is! It was the very first time I saw a doctor actually look at and go over the "new doctor" forms that every doctor has us fill out. Because of that he knew what not to recommend. He didn't just ask for my history, he utilized it! But not only does he offer exceptional medical expertise, but he does so with warmth & caring. I highly recommend him! And the medical & office staff were great as well, they handled my scatterbrain late arrival at my last… visit (during our pandemic) with kind understanding. They also made me feel that their office was a safe place to be.

A friend recommended that I go to him because of recurring pneumonia; he has a bedside manner, a sense of humor and very effective in curing my pneumonia. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The patient will never find in today's world a more compassionate and caring physician. His exceptional Expertise is uncanny. I have Asthma Dr. Slama has been very patient--worse summer ever this year. Dr. Slama should receive many accolades!!!

I have a uncommon disease called sarcodosis and Dr. Slama not only knew about the disease but is successfully treating it. His concern and bedside manner is excellent.
