Dr. Larry Stokar, MD

For whatever reason, Dr. Stokar’s office has absolutely no respect for scheduling. After several visits to the office, I realized that they are continuously an hour behind (or more) and they have little regard for their patients’ time. After waiting months for an appointment, the least you can do is be somewhat close to my scheduled time, or - and this is a crazy idea - actually have the office staff provide me with an update instead of sitting behind the glass talking loudly about personal happenings. Dr. Stokar might be a decent doctor, but the operations of this office are completely unacceptable.

Can't say enough about Dr Stokar ,he did a great job on removing a large cyst off my head.he took away lots of my anxiety and made my appt pleasant pleasant ????and his assistant Megan she is the best assistant ever?????? and the girls at the window????????

Dr Stokar and his staff are all caring and willing to help with your issue. They make you feel like your the only patient!

Dr. Sokar is a knowledgeable Doctor. He looked at a lesion on my body and put my mind at ease immediately, worth the wait

I showed up to my appt, all to be told they didn't take my insurance !!!! I scheduled this appointment three weeks ago with the office and no issues were presented in regards to the Dr office not taking my insurance. I was told sorry we don't take your insurance we found out a week ago. This is totally unacceptable I received a text message verifying my apppointment so why not a text or courtesy call to let us know, Sorry just an outraged Mom my daughter is suffering with terrible dermatitis and really hoping to get answers or at the very least something to ease the pain and inflammation. And one more thing my daughter had to take time off work!!! So sorry we don't take your insurance!!! we found out a week ago doesn't cut it.

full body scan took all of 25 seconds seemed like he couldn't be bothered how can you do a full body scan that fast ? answer.....you cant

I am a prior patient of Dr. Stokar. I have recently switched insurance and when I made my appointment for my yearly skin check, they took my insurance info over the phone and said they would "pre-certify" it. Once I got there (yes, they let me keep the appointment and waste my day), they told me they did NOT take my insurance. I said, "OK, well what is your cash office visit price, I'm just here for a skin check," and was told that they will NOT see me, even though I am a prior patient of the doctor's. The office manager hid in her office and wouldn't speak to me, and they wouldn't bother the doctor to talk to me. Yet, knowing they did not take my insurance, they let me waste my day to come there in person to tell me. They treated me like I was insurance-less scum, instead of a valued and respected former patient of theirs. I would not recommend this office, even if it was the only one available for miles and miles around. Save your time and money for a staff that will respect… you and your time.

Horrible long wait . Girl at front desk overly too busy , she kept apologizing. Told her not her fault. I waited two hours after complaining was left in a room for longer. I became more irritated after listening to the doctor "joking " . I asked for a refund and was told I needed to see the manager which no one seemed to know where she was. The office was chaos. I felt bad for the front desk girl.

Thorough, gets right to the point and addresses the problem. Seems to know his field of practice. Average bedside manner; tells you like it is, doesn't sugarcoat things I would see him again.
