Dr. Lawrence A Strong, DO

I had a very successful appointment with Dr. Strong. I found his staff accommodating with my appointment and I was seen in a timely manner. He was thorough and professional in his diagnosis and I am on the road to a successful outcome. Follow up questions were encouraged and Dr. Strong has helped me find better solutions to my daily skin care needs. I appreciate him and his staff and am happy recommending him to friends and family.

Had an appt w/Dr. Strong concerning Mohl’s surgery. Was told to wait in my car. After at least 45 mins. I went back to office to see what the delay was to find his 4 nurses all congregated behind the front desk chatting without masks or gloves! When I told them I was leaving no one commented or tried to stop me, & even more disturbing I did not receive a follow up call of explanation. Unbelievable & unprofessional to say the least!

My wife went to him first and she had many skin tags removed (over 40) and was not charged for that service. I went and he asked my if I would like skin tags removed and he removed 15 of them and charged me over $200.00 for that unsolicited service. Of course, there was no rational explanation for that behavior even though we repeatedly requested one. How is it professional for a doctor to ask a man if he wants some serve without telling him it would cost him? The bill was over a year- OVER A YEAR - after the service was rendered and came as a total and complete surprise/shock. I wish I had never heard of this doctor in whose main waiting room one its exposed to a looped series of advertisements of his services blasting away on his tv.

I went to Dr. Strong for two minor issues. He told me he could take care of another issue easily. Although I didn't go to him for this other issue, he was so insistent, I let him proceed. My mistake. The other area is now a problem, much more visible and pronounced. Of course he gets paid for everything he does, successful or not.

Always over an hour of a wait. Girls behind the desk always chatter and not much of a help.

Waited 1 1/2 hours to see the doctor. I finally left. I will not be back.

Dr. Strong takes the time to check my whole body. He doesn't just treat the problem I see him for but makes certain that there aren't any problems that I am unaware of. I've never had another doctor do this. He is also very patient and clearly explains my options.
