Dr. L Douglas Wilkerson, MD

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Wilkerson since first grade. She is a junior in college now. There is no one more diverse and knowledgeable in his field than Dr. Wilkerson. I am constantly amazed at his depth and also his dedication to his patients.

This Doctor is crazy autism lol it for kids. I have C-PTSD my childhood trauma. This Doctor gets payed by drug companies lol scam. Fake autism.

I am a 12-year patient of Dr. Wilkerson. The naysayers within this forum have no credibility in my opinion. Take it from a long-term patient: Dr. Doug Wilkerson is the type of professional that has maintained an impeccable reputation and trustrworthy repertoire with patient after patient over the years. He first treated my oldest sister in the early 80s for dizzy spells. Despite a hiatus with him, he was my go-to physician (per my mother's recommendation) nearly 20 years later in 2004. Class act, open to patient opinion, and above all-- a nice fellow who isn't afraid to express his caring opinion. This guy is a champ! He cares about your future, and it's palpable from the point at which you let him into your life just a bit.

Dr. Wilkerson has treated 2 of my children for over 10 years. His help has been invaluable! My daughter was missed diagnosed with depression and anxiety, when she had add. He literally saved her life!

A leader in his field, Dr. Wilkerson has always been supportive and his insights are helpful. He always treats you as though you were his only patient. He has seen my son for 18 years, we could not be more pleased.

he has prescribed powerful stimulants to toddlers. I suffered major problems from side effects of medication he put me on after misdiagnosing me with ADD. He has way too much faith in pills and less faith in psychotherapy which fixed my problems much more easily

Dr. Wilkerson immediately put my 15 year old daughter on meds after her 1st seizure and was quite certain that she would remain on these meds for 4 years.Went to another practice to get a second opinion and they immediately took her off her medications. Their philosophy was totally different. It's been over 6 months and there have been no new problems.

He is an amazing diagnostician, and will take the time to asking your concerns. But you have to be willing to initiate the conversation. I would recommend him to anyone.
