Dr. Lawrence J Zelonis, DO

Dr Zelonis is very nice to talk. His age is unfortunately getting the best of him but the care center in Butler pa still has a huge turnover rate so they just keep him around. If you struggle with anxiety this is not a dr you want to waiste your time with.

asked three times "do you see a specialist?" answer no. asked three or four times "do you get short of breath?" answer no...seemed totally disinterested in reason for visit, which had nothing to do with those questions, and more interested in the fact that i had no recurring, long term medications. then, called three prescriptions into to cvs, one for thirty days for a condition i did not have. when i asked for the third time "what about the ringing in my ears?", the reason for my visit, he replied "oooo, thats a tough one" and continued his one fingered pecking at his computer keyboard, which he did for most of the visit. a pill pusher with the best of them. if you want to start on the road to long term, multi prescription care, ending up with 20 medicines at age 65, go to zelonis.

This man is a Saint. He deserves a medal. His office is small and old but one of these greedy capitalists should build him a brand new office he can practice in.. There are very few doctors left like him. He is one of a kind and im sorry to say probably an endangered species. I dont see him anymore because my new insurance they do not accept but i sure do miss him. Great caring man, very liberal, not scared to practice how he wants, patient, stand up guy.

Don't see him, does not listen. You will wait for an hr before you can see him and that is with an appt. once he comes in, he doesn't listen and spends not even 5min with you and sends you on your way. Horrible service with staff rude office is old, small and cramped.

dr. lawrence zelonis is a very caring doctor. he sits and talks with you and listens. he is very thorough and makes you feel at ease. his staff is terrific, very accomodating, considerate, you never feel like you are a bother or just another patient.

Dr. Z is the only doctor I've ever had who never turns me down for a same day appointment when I need one, who truly LISTENS to what I have to say, and answers all questions and concerns. He does not rush his patients through like cattle. I highly recommend him. Just be prepared for spartan, dated, "interior decorating." ;D

Dr. Zelonis is a very caring doctor. He listens to his patients and explains everything so clearly. his staff is very friendly and make you feel very comfortable.
