Dr. Lawton Wai-Choy Tang, MD

Dr. Lawton Tang is literally the worst doctor I have ever seen. I did a filler injection on my chin one month ago by him, and now my chin looks obviously uneven and having a big hole on one side. And in order to get it fixed, I was willing to pay more money and drove 3 hours to see him, but he treated me with no respect and caring. He spent half an hour emphasizing it is not his job to meet with patient’s expectations, and he cannot make you looks better or anything, all he cared was to not take ANY responsibility of any injection or surgery he is going to make, instead of helping with patient. I cannot believe there is such kind of rude and unprofessional doctor in the world... In the end, since I wanted to get my chin fixed ASAP and I didn’t want to waste my 5 hours’ drive, I still agreed to sign his EXTRA agreement in order to get the injection. But a ridiculous thing happened, after another one hour wait with no communication, the staff of his clinic told me that he was not… willing to do the injection and forced me to go home! I spent 5 hours drive and two hours wait, and agreed to all their terms, and already spent more than $1800 at their clinic in past few months, they in the end treated me as trash and forced me to go home wasting all my money and time! This is indeed the worst experience I have ever had. And I don’t think this doctor is any close to trustworthy.

The doctor is an excellent surgeon but is so hurried in his follow-ups that he delegates a lot of stuff to his somewhat incompetent nurses. I had my hand re-bandaged by them in such a way that the pain was excruciating after the surgery pain had already subdued. The doctor didn't take the time to fill the prescriptions so I had to use regular painkillers.
