She diagnosed me with colitis which I was suffering with for 5 years. They kept telling me its hemorrhoids. She started me on the medicine and worked on very tight schedule. Colitis is not fun. Any little thing can make you flare. Im happy I found her and Uncomfortable with her knowledge and follow ups. Happy to say I am in remission now

I have been under Dr. Nasrollah’s care for four months for a chronic illness and my experience has been frustrating and I lack trust in her and her staff. Under her “care” I have gone to the ER, prescriptions have been written incorrectly, orders have not been made properly, paperwork has been left incomplete and messages have been left unanswered. Dr. Nasrollah’s lack in communication and failure to follow through and pay attention to detail has cost me thousands in an avoidable ER/hospital admittance, needed prescriptions rejected, delay in disability insurance, medical insurance denials, confusion with my primary physician, and hours spent on the phone to advocate and clean-up messes. In my experience, Dr. Nasrollah is available three days a week, unless she is scheduled for procedures on those days. Her response time to messages, even if I have expressed that they are of high importance due to a flare-up of my chronic illness, is two to three days or not at all. I have been told… there is an on-call doctor in her group that covers in her absence, but he or she has never assisted me even when I have expressed to staff that I am desperate for help. Dr. Nasrollah is part of Island View Gastroenterology Associates. You will find that the staff there is overwhelmed, rude, and contradictory in their information. I will find a new gastroenterologist, but definitely not one within Island View due to their poor office management and unreliable on-call doctors. At times there is a high volume of calls to the office and you are forwarded to a general voicemail box…my messages have never been returned.
