Dr. Layne C Godzina, DDS

I went to this dentist for a root canal I would have liked to rate L. Godzina dds a ZERO for caring manner and the same for conducting himself in a professional manner however the lowest score is one star. He was sarcastic and when I asked for a jaw support and getting it adjusted comfortably he threw his hands up in the air, rolled his eyes and said, "we are going to spend the entire appointment adjusting the jaw support". After the procedure he immediately left the room and disappeared . I had questions but was unable to find him to ask. I have had a good number of root canals and other dental work with other dentists, NEVER have I been treated this way. I complained to the dentist who owns the practice and he had dr Godzina call me back. At first he told me I was incorrect, that he did talk to me after the conclusion of the appointment. After I informened him that he in fact left the room he said that everything went fine so there was no reason for me to ask questions,… REALLY? And how was I to know this without any discussion? He said the dental hygienist should have told me everything however he didn't speak to her either not to mention it is Not her job but infact HIS JOB. He simply made excuses for his behavior and blamed me and the hygienist for his mistakes. In fact he didn't listen to what I was saying he continued talking and interrupting me as I spoke. As it turned out I have been having constant pain since the procedure so I'm not sure what his skill level is. I would highly suggest to anyone planning a visit to dr. Godzina to rethink their plan and find a different dentist. I have no malice against dr Godzina. In my opinion I think he is lacking in many areas. And is not open to constructive criticism. In fact he blames others for his short comings .
