I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the medical care I received from my surgeon. I felt neglected as a patient, and I believe the level of communication and compassion I experienced was unacceptably poor. Throughout my treatment, my surgeon demonstrated consistently poor bedside manners. Interactions were often rushed, dismissive, and lacking in empathy. My concerns did not feel acknowledged, and I was not treated with the dignity and reassurance expected when undergoing medical care. As a patient, I was entitled to attentive care, respect, and clear communication. Instead, I was left feeling overlooked and unsupported during an already vulnerable and stressful time. This experience has caused me significant emotional distress in addition to the physical challenges of my condition. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and addressed to ensure that other patients do not endure a similar experience. Thank you for your time and attention to this serious… concern.

Dr. Long was extremely rude my whole pre and post surgery. He never called in my prescriptions and sent many nurses to follow up on my pain because he told them he wasn't sure if he left something inside of me during surgery. The whole experience was very scary and unprofessional. He never talked to me after this procedure, only sent nurses to deal with the aftermath of his mistakes.

Impatient!

Layron Long performed a prostate biopsy on me and has become my go-to guy for all things prostate. He explained the procedure and the findings very thoroughly and clearly. He encouraged questions and offered the full range of options and the pros and cons of each. He's professional, patient, and personable. I like him a lot and trust his judgment.

Dr Long gets a 5 star rating from me! I highly recommend him! His bedside manner is exceptional! He is a rare jewel of a physician. Do yourself a favor and get to know this doctor face to face! I appreciate everything about him! I would definitely use him again!
