It is possible he has changed. I don’t know. If not, I would not recommend anyone to him. I entered his office. He had a smug look on his face. I sat down to discuss various neurological problems. I have complex partial Epilepsy. Also they are uncontrolled. Mine have typically been difficult to locate via EEG. Although they do present. He looked at me and said I needed to see a Psychiatrist, not a neurologist. He had not taken time to speak with me. Mr. Greenfield did not care, nor did he have time for me. He outright dismissed me. I was very disturbed by his actions. I’ve since came close to dying and been in status Epilepticus two or three times since seeing him. His dismissiveness almost took me away from my wife and son. If he has not changed since the time I saw him, I would never recommend him and would even caution people from becoming his patient. I’ve since had multiple medications, the VNS, and even was referred for a surgical work up for brain… surgery. But I refused the work up. He made University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences a place I would never want to return to for neurology. I wish I had something different to say, but I only have the truth.
