Dr. Lazaro N Pomeraniec, MD

After finally getting up the nerve to discuss a traumatic and embarrassing event with Dr. P, he flat out called me a liar and said it never happened. The man has no compassion and doesn't care how long patients wait for him. He overbooks so severely, that you wait an hour each visit for a 10 minute appt. The waiting room always has 15 people waiting.

Dr. P has been treating me for over ten years, he has saved my life over and over and has guided me in the right direction. He has helped me through some of the hardest times of my life, and has always been available for late night emergency appointments. He puts his patient's before himself, and is a great doctor. I fear the day that he retires because I don't think any other psychiatrist would ever compare to him.

I am extremely disappointed in how unprofessional and rude the receptionist is, especially considering the majority of people contacting them are in need of help. I have never written a negative review on any business but I truly do not understand how/ why they treat their clients so poorly and very nasty. I will absolutely never be returning to this practice and I hope the psychiatrist talks to his receptionists on how to treat a patient. Again, I am appalled and have never experienced this type of treatment from a business, nonetheless a psychiatry practice. Disgraceful.

Dr.P cares about his patients! Always there when you need him. And he is NOT a pill pusher like many others. Very conservative. He listens. Love him!!

Dr. Pomereniac is a partner in my treatment meaning that we decide what my best options are for my treatment of double depression. He is a kind and astute clinician.

I have been seeing Dr. Pomerancz for many years now. He has been an excellent doctor. I greatly appreciate his accurate diagnosis, with the appropriate follow up that fits my needs. He is a professional with a compassionate manner. As well as everyone in the office. They are always pleasant to deal with.

I was dealing with a very bad bout of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), depression and anxiety during the period of 2011 to the first half of 2013. I was barely functional. During that time, I began seeing Dr. Pomeraniec for treatment. Fortunately, he found the right combination of medications for me. Since mid-2013, I began to feel much better as the days went on. Right now, I am no longer anxious and/or depressed and my OCD is under control. I feel that I have my life back. I cannot be more grateful to Dr. Pomeraniec and all the help he has given me.

Dr. Pomeraniec is a very good doctor who took the time to understand my issues and worked with me to determine an effective plan to manager it. I would highly recommend him!
