It was awhile ago I went to the PEP program. I went for 2 weeks and stayed 11 weeks. It was one of the best things I ever did for my recovery. I was 23 years sober and i was able to dig deeper in my recovery then the 12 steps offers. I was able to see how i see my self, my peers see me and how the clinical team see’s me…. I know a lot of others need more help then 12 steps and this is a great way to dig deeper. Give yourself the gift. The people that say bad things about it is the ones that don’t want to grow and learn, they are stuck and not willing to do the work that they have to help us all get to another place of happiness in our lives.. Knowing that Dr. Bennett is there is very comforting, she was the best, hardest but best….

The PEP program is an Orwellian mind crushing machine.

Don’t go to the PEP program. The restrictions will be too harsh. Dr.Bennett is smart but they do not use evidence based approaches; ie-do not offer naltrexone for professionals w/opiate dependence. They also adhere to sexual compulsive issues as addiction. That is not validated and sex addiction is not in the DSM-5. I wrote a long review on Pine Groves google page.
