Dr. Leah Geralyn Dickerson, MD

Be warned. This Dr. can be very abrasive, abrupt and rude. If you are more of a kind, softspoken and an anxious person, you may find you will be walked on and dealt with in a quick and insensitive manner by Dr. Dickerson. She does NOT have time to offer any reassurance or guidance to you, even if you are just asking about your Medication (And, that is literally her job to give you insight on your medication.) She will cut you off when you are speaking, as well. Be prepared to be spoken down to! Please, please heed this warning if you are seeing her and you suffer from anxiety issues. She can seriously hinder your progress, by making you NOT want to go back. Just know, that your time and your questions are valid, and she is getting paid to listen to you. So, please don't let her make you feel SMALL, like she did to me. YOU WOULD THINK A PSYCHIATRIST would understand this, more than anyone. But, if a patient has a difficult time expressing their needs, DO not hurt them in the process by… being condescending. Don't forget HOW DIFFICULT it can be for a person to bring themselves to even see a DR about their issues in the first place. Wish I could actually say something nice about her, but she is unpleasant and that is very unfortunate.
