Dr. Leah Elizabeth Guidry-White, MD

Dr. Guidry-White misdiagnosed me. I went to see another physician for a second opinion, and it turned out Dr. Guidry-White was completely wrong. She may have confused me with another patient, which indicates serious sloppiness. I do not recommend her AT ALL.

I saw Dr. Guidry-White many years ago and was incredibly disappointed by the way her staff treated patients and the length of time I had to wait for test results. I would not recommend her practice to anyone.

The staff is not pleasant. The receptionist is sometimes rude. She acts as if she doesn't want to be at work. The office staff is always making excuses for not returning phones when requesting for follow-up on labs. No one should have to wait when past 35 minutes for lab work to be done especially when there are no other patients in the office. I wonder if they know what the abbreviation NPO means. I believe that if anyone is going to work in the medical profession, his or her work ethics MUST be of high standards. Don't treat patients like you don't have a non-caring attitude and like they are bothering you. I believe the doctor is a good doctor but in reality she needs to take a good look at her staff involved because they are a hinderance to quality patient care.

My child has ADD. She is unresponsive on prescription refills. You can wait days without hearing anything. Does not follow through. Is uncaring whether your child runs out of medication. Is only in the office a couple days a week with limited hours on those days, so very difficult to get response on any issues. Staff is rude and uncooperative.

The quality of this practice has gone down. The front office staff lies to you and never returns phone calls. The staff in this office do not provide good customer service. It seems like they do not know what they are doing.

I was a new patient, I arrived 30 minutes early and was seen an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Dr. White seemed cordial, but did not apologize about the wait. I mentioned to her that I had not been feeling well and wanted a complete physical to assist in diagnosing my issue. I spoke with her a total of 5 mins and was left with the nurses. I was told that the results from my labwork and xrays would be given to me in 1 week. It took almost 3 weeks to obtain the results from my labwork, after I called the nurses everyday for 1 week straight (2nd week). Initially, I was told that the dr. had not reviewed my results. Later, I was told that she was not in the office and had my files with her. I was always told that I would receive a call back and never did. I finally received my lab results after another call to the nurses, I still haven't received any information on my xrays (1 month later). The meds that she prescribed me, made me sick. I notified the nurses (Linda and… Amanda) of this information, they stated that they would call in another prescription for me and never did. I am currently looking for another dr. The personnel, including the dr., are very unprofessional. Money wasted...

She is the best. She takes the time to listen to you. She asks about your family. She is a real patient, caring doctor, something you do not see too often these days. I really appreciate her.

-the online address is wrong. Noone has made the effort to correct it.- had to wait more than 45 minutes even after having and appt.- staff said the reports will be in 2 days, no one called for 10 days...when I called, they said MD is not here, they will call me back..noone called back- when reports came, they mis-interpreted the results and made stupid and silly suggestions. I A PHARMACIST, DO NOT MESS WITH MY HEALTH...- Overall---POOR POOR POOR

I ended up not waiting to see the Dr because the office was a mess. Let me start by saying I arrived 15 ahead of time for my appointment but they have moved. No one mentioned this when I said I was a new patient. Then I was given an address of 2714 Sunrise Blvd from the old address. I was still on time but could not find the building there was a 2734 so I went inside. No Dr Guidry- White on the board. After checking two more buildings I once again called the receptionist. Guess what we are in the 2734 building. When I finally got to the office the staff was terrible. NOTE to Dr Guidry- White REPLACE the Women at the Front with some that have a little personality.
