Dr. Leah Michelle Schenk, MD

We were referred to Dr. Leah Schenk at Aspire by our OB/GYN and it was the best thing that's ever happened to us. She reviewed all of my medical history and helped us make an informed decision to do IVF. Dr. Schenk and the team at the Fannin (now Main St.) location were amazing. The girls in the front are welcoming, they remember who you are and are always prepared. We didn't have any billing issues, Tammy in finance was always clear and timely with letting us know everything. We never experienced long wait times and each visit with Dr. Schenk was informative and efficient. She always made sure we understood everything and always made us feel comfortable. She laid out the perfect IVF protocol for me and now were 2 months away from having our first baby boy! I also want to mention that Carmen in ultrasound and the hispanic lady in bloodwork made the whole process so much easier to get through. They are both exceptional, caring people and I can't thank them enough! There are a ton of IVF… clinics in Houston, as long as Dr. Schenk is with Aspire - that's the only one for us!

Excellent doctor! My husband and I were having issues for over 2 years and after 2 months of seeing Dr. Schenk we are pregnant! Very courteous and friendly staff . I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I love doctor schenk from the frist try of fet I have two heart beats .after I seen to many different doctors she knows what she doing . Very nice doctor I would send everybody to her keep up the great job doctor :)

Only on the initial visit do you actually get to talk to the doctor. When you have any questions you have to call the nurse (which I did not mind). However, the nurse from the main office is always rude and condescending! I would never recommend someone using this doctor!!!

After a bad experience at another facility with another doctor I started over. I am thrilled that I ended up in Dr. Schenk's office and am 100% satisfied being under her care. I'd recommend her any day to family & friends. The office staff up front leaves a little to be desired, but they don't have an easy task-tons of patients in and out and they handle it as best they can. The nurses are amazing, and always return calls promptly. I've been seen on time at every appointment. Dr. Schenk is honest about your options and realistic about the outcomes-which is what I wanted. I don't need someone to "fluff" how this is all going to go down.

I will keep this short & sweet. After both visits (each one I waited over an hour as she took the hour to finally review my chart/history), she determined by a blood test, I had elevated FSH level and that explained my fertility issues. However, instead of moving forward with IVF, she told me to go home & grieve, that I would not have any more babies and that there was nothing she could do for me. I lost hope and THANK GOD, my OBGyn referred me to Houston IVF, who took me through IVF. I now have a 3 month old baby girl no thanks to Dr. Schenk. After telling everyone about my experience and her lazy bedside manner and lack of drive, 2 other couples said she sent them away too. Turns out, fertility docs are rated according to their successes and we are guessing she didn't want to mess up her number. Dr. Schenk, you won't last much longer with other doctors in Houston willing to try. Hope you got the birth announcement.

Dr Schenk is very direct about your odd and/or chances and tells you what you need to know about various treatment options. She encourages you to make the decision on what you want to do and involves you in the treatment process. She has answered all our questions clearly too. She spends time with you and seems caring about the health of mother and also, embryo. She seems genuine and caring. I went strictly for infertility and did Gyn surgeries elsewhere.
