Dr. Leahn Janette Huffman, DDS

Living out of state I settle for a local dentist for emergencies. But, whenever I’m in the Bay Area, I always get an appointment with Dr. Huffman.

I would not trust any other dentist with my mouth. I live in Seattle, WA and fly down when I need work done. She is skillful at explaining problems before doing the work. She treats me as a partner in making decisions for my oral health care.

After going to my local dentist who was highly rated on Angie's list and being told that I would need an amalgam filling (I don't want amalgam in my mouth) or (worse) a crown on one of my wisdom teeth, I called Dr. Huffman to see if she could do the composite filling my then-current and highly-rated dentist claimed "couldn't be done". She agreed to take a look at it, and to my satisfaction was able to complete the very difficult filling on my wisdom tooth. I would highly recommend Dr. Huffman to anyone looking for a professional, detail-oriented and proactive dentist.

I sure hope I do not have to come back to this site to give a detailed review of this dentist. My experience with her was that she was absolutely unprofessional!! Her conduct, among other things was, atrocious and bordered on, or possibly was, abusive. I sure hope she does the right thing to rectify the situation. We'll see.....

I am very careful about who I let work on my teeth. I look into a dr.s education and background before even considering him/her. I was more than impressed with Dr. Huffman's expertise and experience. During my first visit I was impressed by the professional and friendly atmosphere of the office. There I was not just told, but shown by Dr. Huffman where and how to improve my oral health. Before the end of my first visit I was handed my own copy of my dental file explaining everything we talked about. I have never felt so much ownership in my health care. Dr. Huffman is not a dentist simply interested in drilling and filling, she is a knowledgeable doctor in fashionable shoes who will partner with you to improve your oral health.
