Dr. Leanza Hui Liu, MD

I came in as a newly diagnosed T1diabetic. This doctor has only seen me once and knew nothing about me and yet she was rude, talked over me, dismissed anything I said and insisted that if there was something I needed, that she would tell me and I was not to ask questions. I have worked in healthcare all my life and I have never been treated in such a demeaning way. I will not be returning.

Dr Liu is amazing! She takes one on one time with her patients and answers all questions! She cares about her patients and keeps it real and wants you healthy! So thankful and blessed I found her! Same day refills done and you don’t have to wait days for them to call them in!

Dr. Liu listened carefully to all my symptoms and how I felt in addition to running a full battery of tests. Based on her knowledge and experience she sent me to an excellent surgeon to remove one of my parathyroid glands. After years of pain and debilitating fatigue, I am cured. I now have a future

This was the worst medical experience of my life. She saw me for a total of 2-3 minutes each time. She was dismissive and didn’t listen when I reported severe side effects and allergies from the medication. The office staff was rude, unprofessional, and short with me. Switched to a new doctor who immediately looked at my blood tests and informed me that my dosage of medication was way off.

I went to her to care for my diabetes and she is very pushy as other stated. She seems as though she is talking down to you in a demeaning manner all the time. I can't believe I stayed at this practice for 3 years while my A1C stayed high from her incompetence. Now I have moved on to another endo and my diabetes is perfectly in line and A1C is great. He cut my A1c in half basically. Dr. Liu recommendations did not help and neither did she. She might be better off being a college professor educating Doctors, but not actually seeing patients. Avoid this one TRUST ME.

She did not listen to what I had to say. I told her what I was feeling, and she said that she couldn’t do anything to help me. Not good bedside manner at all. I will not be going back.

I heard from a friend who has been seeing Dr. Liu for years that Dr. Liu has been rated the best doctor for endocrinology in town (2018 and 2019). I visit her recently and I have to say that I like Dr. Liu and her staff. Dr. Liu spent over an hour discussing my situation and subsequent follow-up. Jennifer and Clara are very professional.
