Dr. Lee Hartman Akin

I had to have a tooth removed. I was taken to one room and numbed, then left alone for over 20 mins(I was pretty anxious about the procedure). When I was numb they took me back to a sterile room. Was less then 5 mins for actual procedure. Felt rushed out the door after my tooth was out. Nurse put gauze in my mouth and told me they would give me instructions at front desk. The work was good, just didn't feel like time was taken to explain things to me, or make me feel comfortable.

My daughter fell on a bicycle brake that ripped through her cheek making a huge hole, we took her to the ER, where we did not wait long for Dr. Akin to show up. Dr. Akin explained what he was going to do before he did it. He was not only professional but very polite and caring. Dr. Akin stitched my daughters cheek, inside and out and he did a wonderful job, better than we expected. We went to his office to have the stitches removed, did not wait long, he talked with her and joked with her, made her laugh alot, he made her feel comfortable. To this day, when we see Dr. Akin out in public (ie. store), he makes a point to stop and talk to her and see how her scar is healing. I once again, want to say Thank you to Dr. Akin for the wonderful job that he did.

Dr. Akin removed my son's wisdom teeth. On the day of surgery, he reviewed procedures with us, and made sure we understood. Surgery itself went well and was very professional. His office is clean, staff were patient and kind. Dr.. Akin is "to the point". He answers your questions, and then moves on. He is direct and has a super busy schedule; I like that he made sure we didn't have any more questions before taking my son back for surgery. We did wait a bit for him. Waiting at a doctor's office doesn't bother me as I recognize that the doctor has other patients. When it is my turn (or in this case, my son's turn) I expect to have the doctors full attention to meet my needs. Our wait was only 10-15 minutes. One thing which surprised me that I really I appreciated is that Dr. Akin called us himself to check on how my son's recovery was going and make sure we didn't need anything else. I would recommend him to anyone needing an oral surgeon without reservation.

They did a fabules job

Very nice doctor. Made me feel comfortable. Oral surgery is never a fun experience, but if I had to do it again, I would go back to Dr. Akin. (Not bad to look at)

Very good at what he does. Very pleasant.
