Dr. Lee Adam Berk, MD

Stay away is right as another reviewer stated below, second rude and nasty human. I’ve been to quite a few different doctors in my life but never encountered such a coarse and indifferent attitude towards a patient. After an over an hour wait time the interaction was not just unpleasant it and uncomfortable but the experience left me feeling worse than after the visit than before I showed up. I get that every person be it a doctor has their own style in interacting with others but dealing with patients who come in to seek help and advice like this doctor did is detrimental. I was interrupted and unable to discuss issues and told that “unlike you I have everything in order and I’m professional” I don’t need for anyone to hold my hand but at the same time don’t need to be berated by a doctor especially when in pain, paying for a visit and vulnerable from not feeling well. I could go on but if you expect professional behavior and empathy look for another doc.

________________________________ After reviewing some feedback regarding Dr. Berk, I felt compelled to express my disappointment, as he is an exceptional physician who demonstrates a genuine commitment to his patients’ well-being. Dr. Berk is distinguished by his outstanding interpersonal skills and is, without a doubt, one of the finest internists I have encountered. His knowledge is impressive, and he communicates in a clear and direct manner. I greatly appreciate his exemplary bedside manner; he consistently comes prepared to address any concerns I may have. Unlike many practitioners, he is the only one who has consistently responded to my emails in a timely fashion. While some individuals may voice concerns regarding wait times, it is vital to recognize that he is diligently attending to other patients rather than idly passing the time. Ultimately, what is most important is his unwavering dedication to prioritizing patient care. My entire family is under Dr. Berk's care, and I… have confidently referred numerous friends to him, all of whom have enjoyed positive experiences.

I was very disappointed when I heard how unprofessional Dr. Berk was on several occasions during appointments with both of my parents. Instead of explaining the issues and discussing the visit, he spent the time typing up the information. He did not take any time during the visit to discuss anything and when asked a question made rude comments instead of helping them understand their concerns. This is completely unacceptable. He lacks the patience and caring nature that every doctor should posses. If he doesn’t take the time to speak with his patients and show that he cares then he should rethink his profession. There are many other wonderful doctors that would take pride in their job and helping their patients with the proper bedside manner.

Stay Away - this dr was nasty and rude. He misdiagnosed my older mother to the point she almost died. When questioned by my mother- because she was not feeling well- he was condescending and downright nasty. And he was wrong. Then lied to cover himself in the portal. Avoid him. Diagnose yourself. Use web md. This man has no business being a dr. He is terrible and needs to stop practicing.

Dr. Berk has been my doctor for many years . He is brilliant ! He tells it like it is.

This doctor is very disrespectful, rude and very unprofessional.I had these symptoms; stomach pain, fever, often urination and lateral right side behind the back ( in kidney area) He refused to do ultrasound of the kidneys and abdomen general, also urine test . He was insisting to do Phisotherapy for back pain without having any back pain. This was the worse dictor that I ever met in my life.

This doctor is not only cold but downright disrespectful. It was my first visit. I had my 3 year old and 3 month old with me because I could not find a sitter. I waited to be seen for over an hour. when he came into the room he asked me a series of questions, I tried to answered them in between trying to keep my two kids quiet. I must have not answered the question in the correct way because he proceeded to call me a DUNCE. I guess he figured I didn’t know the meaning of that word. It means slow, or stupid. Then told me I was 15Lbs above what I should be. ( By the way I have a 3 month old) I am 3 months postpartum and had a C-section. This doctor was not in good shape himself. I think he was extremely unprofessional and has no compassion for mothers let alone women. He should be ashamed of himself.

If you like a dr who is never on time and always sarcastic, this dr is for you! After keeping me waiting well over an hour every visit (at least 10) he then has no time or interest to answer questions.

have to wait usually-never go in on time for appt but he does spend alot of time with each patient

Dr. Berk takes his time, especially with new patients, to obtain as complete and accurate profile of the patient as is possible. He will review past history, including family history, and current state of health. That some wait times are extended attests to Dr. Berk's thoroughness and his desire to serve his patients in the best possible way.
