Dr. Lee Howard Bogart, MD

I would recommend Dr. Bogart to anyone. He got me on the fast track to receiving my chemo. Recommended a colleague at University of Pennsylvania for a 2nd opinion. Did my bone marrow biopsy under sedation, no problem. Gave me his cell phone number while I was on hospitalized chemo -I also saw each of his colleagues during my hospital stays without any issues. Excellent follow up. Cancer remission achieved. I owe him my life and would recommend him to anyone.

I would not chose this doctor again. He passed me off to a colleague. The colleague set me up for taking bone marrow. This doctor took two bone marrow samples. Something unheard of. I believe after the colleague took the first bone marrow sample she let someone practice on me. I was not allowed to look back and see the person taking the second bone marrow sample. The second sample was even more painful the the first. On the follow up appointment I told the doctor I believe she let some one practice on me. Of course it was denied; then I was blamed for not saying something at the time if the second sample was so much more painful. I was making noise of pain and doing some involuntary movement from the heightened pain. I believe she knew I was in more pain and was doing wrong; that is why I was yelled at when I started to look back at the person causing me such prolonged pain. Latter a nurse told me in her 25 yrs. in the medical field she has never heard of two bone marrow samples… being taken. I never went back to Dr. Bogart or his associate. If you see this doctor you may be taking a risk. While in the waiting room on my follow up visit I spoke with another patient of doctor Bogart. She told me she had to sue him and they settled out of court for wrong doing. I do not recall her story, but again you may be at risk if seeing this doctor or his colleague.
