Having been in private practice for 17 years, I have seen many different practice styles and ways to meet patients' needs. The patient is my top priority. I believe in spending time with my patients to truly understand her concerns and needs. My areas of interest are high risk Obstetrics and minimally invasive Gyncologic surgery. I particularly enjoy my Obstetrics patients as I believe that pregnancy and childbirth is a unique time in a woman's life and that each woman has her own experience. I understand that there is more than one way to have a baby. I listen to my patient's desires and meet them as long as we operate within safe guidelines. I encourage pregnant patients to discuss their ideas about labor and delivery. We will do our best to make her birth experience memorable. I have also become interested in minimally invasive Gynecologic surgery and have become experienced in robotic surgery. Often surgery is required to manage certain conditions. I believe that minimally …invasive surgery offers the best chance at quick recovery with the least discomfort. Again, as with Obstetrics, I encourage patients to discuss their expectations of surgery with me so that we can meet these in a safe environment. Mostly, I understand that a patient's time is valuable. I believe in spending time with my patients to listen to ensure their health needs are met.
