Dr. Lee Campbell Drinkard, MD

Dr Drinkard was my hematologist at recent Baylor Scott and White in grapevine. I had 4 pints blood and 2 platelets transfusion. Dr followed up bloodwork after each transfusion and would not release me until I was healthier. Today 4-8-2020 he performed a bone marrow Biopsy And aspiration over which I was dreading and very anxious. However his nurses were very knowledgeable and full disclosure. As soon as dr Drinkard came in and explained process and began nothing to it, no pain whatsoever , no worse than getting couple shots in butt. Wow , I thought nothing to it. Dr Drinkard is one the best specialist I ever meet. Intelligent, smart and carrying person. He was with me in the Baylor Hospital before and after having a surgery not related with my cancer...he have my treatment on hold until I was ready and safe to continue...for 2 years we fight together against the cancer I develop. His nurses Jenny and Judy where his angels who took care of my Chemo and ride along with me all the way until today..../ I'm in remission for 3 happy years of life. THANKS DR DK YOU'RE THE BEST! If you look at these fake 5-star reviews, most don’t have any written comments. Terrible oncologist! I was referred because of an mri that was suspect. The doctor wasn’t informative at all. I had the bone scan and reviewed with results prior to my scheduled appointment with the help of a radiologist. There was no cancer evident so I was going to cancel my follow up appointment. Dr. Drinkard called me and tried to use manipulation tactics to get me to come in so they could bill me. I asked him point blank “could it be cancer” and he said nothing other than “you should come in”. My diagnostics had no flags for cancer, nothing in blood or bone scan yet he couldn’t even provide ethical advise. Terrible bedside manner. Stay away from this terrible physician.

The doctor is always on top of things. He is very caring and very much concerned for my health. He is extremely knowledgeable and stays in contact with all my other doctors

Took my father to see Dr. Drinkard for lung cancer. He was extremely patient with my father who is very hard of hearing. He answered questions and openly gave his opinion. In our case the decision was made for hospice, but after meeting with Dr. Drinkard I feel comfortable in that decision. I was also comforted to learn that Dr. Drinkard is a hospice physician as well as an oncologist. I would definitely recommend anyone going down this path to contact his office for an appointment.

This man saved my life. Dr. Drinkard has been by my side through NHL, sepis, c-Diff, several surgeries, CT scans, PET scans, and over 100 days in the hospital. He was in constant contact with my husband during the past year. We love Dr. Drinkard!

I have yet to have this man spend 10 minutes with me, to outline a plan for me after treating me since surgery for metastatic spinal surgery in 2004. God, where can I find a caring Oncologist in Irving, Texas?

I feel Dr drinkard saved my life. after I was first diagnosed with lung cancer by an emergency room Dr he took over and confirmed the diagnosis and along with chemo he also sent me to radiation with another Dr. The combination so far has worked and I have been cancer free for a year. He and His staff are always helpful and caring and I would recommend Dr Drinkard and his staff for anyone.
