Dr. Lee Bennett Elber, DO

I am now 63 years old. I started seeing Dr Daniel Elber when I was 12 years old and was very very happy through the years. Eventually, his son, Dr Lee Elbert joined him and at first I was a bit weary because he was not like his dad in manners. But!! If it wasn’t for Dr Kee and his honest approach, I would never have quit smoking! He is honest, straightforward, tries to get you to a better, healthier lifestyle without shoving tons of medications at you. He talked with me about supplements and different ways to handle stress and anxiety at least 25+ years ago that I am seeing being pushed today. A Dr like Dr Lee is someone you definitely want taking care of you. And…. If it is something he doesn’t think he can help you with, he will recommend a doctor he feels can help you. I highly recommend Dr Lee Elber and do trust him with my life!

I was a patient of Doc Elber back in his Jersey days. I loved Doc Elber. He like myself is direct and to the point. I understand why doc left Jersey, sad but Jersey sucks especially the medical services. So happy to see doc is doing well. Go see him you won’t be sorry.

Very unprofessional, honestly a horrible doctor as well, I was a new patient and he was super rude to me from the moment that he walked into the room, he will deny lab work even if you have underlying symptoms, he will stare and judge you and respond to you in a very condescending and judgemental way, he is extremely arrogant and rude, avoid him like the plague, there is a reason why he’s accepting new pacients.

Horrible and should not be working with people in any capacity. Had work done and did not see the results he promised. Asked nicely for partial reimbursement and he was nothing but nasty and rude and would not even work w me on this. Do not waste your time seeing him.

I just had a follow up conversation with Dr. Lee Elber and he was very condescending as I was trying to understand why my cholesterol levels was high. I have never ever had cholesterol problems so I just wanted to understand because I am vegan and high cholesterol is associated with animal meat. He dismissed that fact. Said no matter how much of a "perfect" diet you have (keep in mind I never indicated that being vegan is a perfect diet or that it creates perfect health. i didn't even voice my beliefs on anyone), it can be a struggle if it's genetic. When his staff left a voice mail message all she said was everything was fine except my bad cholesterol/high cholesterol and that was that. No numbers, no ratios, nothing. It was only natural that I would call to get a better understanding of what was meant. Needless to say, I won't be going back there and neither will my son. I'm sure he doesn't care. Just don't understand why would a Dr. Lee Elber treat me like I was in the wrong and… have an attitude for calling back about this issue? He didn't even apologize for the fact that his staff left partial information. Then to top it off, they don't call you when they get the results in from the blood work. You have to call them or you will never know. Period.

Dr Elber is an excellent doctor. He really treat you with the respect and courtesy. Besides that he really knows what he's doing when he treats you as a patient. He goes above and beyond to make sure you got the best care possible. I highly recommend Dr Elber. I've never had such a great doctor. He really knows his stuff.

Annual physical checkup- reviewed information that nurse had collected and said everything looks normal. Asked me “anything I want to tell him about general health”. Didn’t do any check up at all other than listening to my breathing through stethoscope. I agree with others, he doesn’t seem to like being asked questions. When I requested him for a quick question, his response wasn’t friendly. I bet he didn’t even listen to my question. Stay away from Lee (the son). Chances are, something serious about your health may get overlooked if you continue with this ill prepared doctor. Note, this review isn’t of Dr Daniel Elber (the father). Another misleading part of his office is, they take patients for doctor Lee elber even when I had specifically asked for Daniel (father), surprise surprise on date of appointment.

Dr Lee is very professional and courteous. He takes the time for questions. I appreciate the fact he has his patients as his utmost concern and is very respectful. I think he is an excellent Doctor.

I would go to no other doctor!!!!!!

Doctor Elber has been my doctor for more than 15 years. I am so happy I found him. He has recommended many doctors to me and every doctor was excellent as he is. I had a bad pain in my leg he said it may be my hip so he sent me to an Orthopedic. The Orthopedic said I had bad arthritis in my hip, He then said I would need a hip replacement, he also said I was to Obese and that I would need to lose at least 100lbs. I went back to Dr Elber and told what the Orthopedic said Dr Elber said I will help lose the 100lbs. I was 63 yrs. old I could not walk or exercise. With Dr Elbers help I lost the 100lbs in 8 months and got my hip replaced. If it was not for Dr Elber I don't how long it would of taken me to lose the 100lbs. Doctor Elber has always been there for me when I needed him. He is a Great Doctor.
