Dr. Lee Kilpatrick Finklea Jr., MD

Dr. Lee Patrick Finklea, Jr. is a board-certified pediatrician and a 2002 graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, where he played division one soccer and received the Outstanding Departmental Award in Philosophy. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk and pediatric residency training at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During this training, he was awarded the Children’s Health Advocate of the Year by the Medical-Legal Assistance for Families and volunteered at Camp Camp for disabled children and Camp Independence for children with diabetes. Dr. Basaldua and Dr. Finklea are both well-established in the field of Pediatrics in San Antonio. After years in a larger group practice, they embarked on a journey to create a smaller, more personalized medical home where they can better focus on the care of their patients and families.
