I became Dr. Gemma's patient after suffering an arrhythmia induced heart attack a few days after knee replacement surgery and was rushed to Emergency. I became his patient by happenstance after under going a catheterization. I was very impressed with his thoroughness in investigating my previous heart issues and his honesty about what risks I faced. He even took the time to obtain my old EKG's going back quite some time to confirm the type of similar episodes I had previously experienced but to a lesser degree of severity. Based on his advice I then underwent a heart oblation to hopefully eliminate the abnormal electrical impulses that were causing my arrhythmia. I have now been virtually arrhythmia free for nearly 3 years even though there was no guarantees. I could not have been more impressed with Dr Gemma's warm caring professional manner. I feel very fortunate to have come under his care. He answered every question my wife or I had and monitored my condition very closely all the… time I was there.
